Caller: “Brenda from Commonwealth Bank”

SCAM CALL Recorded message saying: “Hi this is Brenda from Commonwealth bank. There was an attempt to purchase bitcoin worth $1800 using your debit card a few
moments ago. If you did not authorise this press 1. If you wish to authorise this press 2.”

Had a call from so called Telstra offering 50% discount as I have been a long term holder. They knew a bit of information, already but it didn't feel right. I later phoned Telstra and its confirmed that there are a number of scam callers offering so called discounts.

Received a call with an artificial voice recording, “Hi this is Brenda from the Commonwealth Bank…”. I disconnected the call and blocked it. Doesn’t seem like a new scam but a different number from what was reported above.

Unanswered call from same number . My phone warned as potential fraud..

Caller: claiming to be from Telstra

Claiming to be from Telstra, sounded very suspicious hung up on the call.

Caller claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank security team. I don't bank with Comm bank so I hung up.
