I got a call from this same number stating he was from my bank and I had an overseas payment, did I want to stop it. When I told him I would go into my bank and sort it out face to face he seemed to get a bit agressive.

He said he was from Amazon security. Definitely a scam

Indian call centre scam. Claimed to be from an Australian bank and that a large amount of money had been transferred from my account.

Someone from security from my bank called and queried a big amount of money wanting to be transferred from my account. After questioning him and saying that banks don’t do this he became aggressive and then hanged up.

Claimed to be from Paypal Banking. It's a SCAM.

I know because I don't have a Paypal account.

Same number called me twice.. and just hangs up

SCAM.

Repeatedly called

no response on pickup. dialled number and no response. Treat as scam
