Answered my landline. I said hello twice then the caller ended the call. From reading the other comments it was probably because someone answered before me. I immediately thought SCAMMER & the other comments would confirm this. I saw a "How to handle a scam call" on a Facebook reel. The person answering the call asked the caller to hold then they put their mobile down & covered it with the metal lid for a pot & proceeded to hit the lid with a wooden spoon then got their phone back & hung up.😄

When you call this number you get a message saying that all lines to this area are busy...obviously a scammer!

Unrecognised number. No message recorded. Having checked here I am not surprised to see this number reported multiple times

Just another Indian working in an Indian call centre claiming to be with NBN, wanting to know details of my connection etc. He hung up when he realised, I knew he was scamming. I wonder if his mother knows or cares that her son is a lying, thieving scumbag.

When I answered there were several seconds of delay, then came the sound of a male voice conversing with someone else in what sounded like Hindi, with background noise which sounded like a call centre. After about 10 or 15 seconds the call was terminated from the other end. I would say it was someone setting up a scam.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Indian accent. Usual lies about my internet being at risk said he would instruct me how to fix. Said basic users like me would not understand written instructions hence the call.
Told him he was being arrogant and ignorant and I work for Telstra.
He hung up immediately.

This call showed as coming from Melbourne, Vic. I had missed the call and it diverted to my message bank, however no message was left. When I called the number back I heard a continuous engaged signal which would indicate that the number was in constant use. I strongly suspect that it was an attempted scam call
