This number came up on my phone as "Suspected Spam (Telemarketer)". I didn't answer the call.

Didn't answer the call (which I often don't if I don't recognise the number). When I called the number back (which I sometimes do to see if it is legitimate), it said (with a nice machine like American accent) "this number is not in service. Please check the number and try again". Obviously something not right there.

Hung up without speaking after I answered. No doubt a scam call. Block & delete!

I answered the call and waited for a reply back but it was silent on the other end and after 5 seconds the call ended. I will be blocking that number from now on.

Some sort of telemarketing. Very noisy in the background. Claimed to have emailed me about products in the past??? I had no idea who this was so I hung up on them and blocked the number.

Unsolicited call to a number on the Do Not Call Register. Supposedly trying to sell some sort of income/financial products. Was able to tell me my number, but had the wrong name (no one else has ever had my number). Asked for my details to "validate" the call. When I brought up the Do Not Call Register they didn't seem to know what it was, so either doesn't care about the relevant rules or calling from outside Australia and spoofing the number. Either way, I wouldn't trust a call from this number.

they accidentally left a voice message which captured a heap of background conversations that sounded very scammy (red flag)
When i tried to call the number back i got a message telling me the number isnt connected (red flag)

called 3 times yesterday, 3 times today. STOP.
