Please beware- SCAM CALL -!this number left a message on my phone to say if you want Chinese press 1

Claimed to be NAB stating it was a verification call. I asked why they were trying to scam and he said how do you know. I said I think the bank would know I don’t have an account with you. He hung up.

Exactly what this person is saying. They said they are calling from Telstra. I said I'm not even with Telstra. They said Telstra owns the IP address on my phone which is public, not private. They gave me a name - Amanda West (with Asian/American accent) and said their employee number (EIN) is 133776721. I wrote this number and name in Google and nothing comes up. I told them there's no verification and then suggested that I call them back on their number, they said they are trying to help. They spoke about an IP address 6 and 4. Where is the 6 one located on the map they asked. As this point I hung up. SCAM

Scam call - Updating GP information

They offer to fix my IP address from public to private. I did not proceed with the conversation because they are asking private information such as my IP address. I asked them If they can give me their phone number so I can ring them back, but they declined. So I stopped the conversation. ...After a few minutes, I rang the number registered on my mobile, , the system default voice operator says "TIGER BROKER"....What a liar , first they say they are from Telstra

Received Call with Potential Fraud listed. Did not answer Have received numerous calls, all with last eight digits all around 7035 2636

Guy called saying he was from Telstra. He said my phone had recent irregularities and if I entered Settings he would show me how to fix them. He gave me an EIN to validate himself. I later checked this number: it is registered to Telstra Incorporated in the US. I hung up. A call to his mobile number elicited the message 'this number has been disconnected'.

Received a ‘⚠️Suspicious Caller’, setup in Block List & deleted.

They claimed they are from Optus and telling that my internet was on public system instead of private. I told them that yes my Wifi was not good this morning and he asked me to go on google map to provide some informations 😅... I just end up telling them that if I need Optus support, I would ring them - the way is speaking if different from Optus support who will first connect to your account. The public/private things is obviously BS when all your connexion is comming thought a private box. Anyway, thats 100% scam and they re not even nice.

Called, claiming my GP needs more information from me and to press 1 or 2 to speak to the operator

Like others the message said press 1 for Chinese. Pity I missed the call I would love to abuse them

Said he was from Australian authority of something then tried to ask if I had made a $900 bitcoin purchase. When I said I wasn’t going to give him any details cause it sounded like a scam he said bye bye bye and hung up
