Caller: Call centre looking for the home owner to sell Solar Panels to

They knew my first name. The caller was heavily accented. I could hear 'call centre' chatter in the background. Asked if I had solar panels installed. I said no. Asked if I was the home owner. I said no. Asked if I rented. I said yes. She said thanks and hung up.

Calling me at 7.45 P.M on a Saturday, they must be desperate, calling outside the hours allowed for these telemarketers.

Caller knew my name, asked me verify that it was me.
Her voice was heavily accented and she asked me if I had had air conditioning vents installed. That sounded odd to me.
She then asked if I had air conditioning already. I answered “yes” . The caller continued with further questions.I told her I wasn’t interested and she said “that’s OK” and I ended the call.

Wanted to know if Dorothy lived at my address and wanted me to confirm my address.

Got same call with one digit difference (03) 7035 0248. I answered but did not say anything, could hear call centre type chatter in background. They asked for my name... I said what is your name? She hung-up. Blocked

Noticed this caller number on my mobile today. Strangely enough my phone did not emit a loud ring - well - this could be a good thing!!!! I suspect its the idiot noted in all of the above complaint responses. Again I say - Why can't our Government DO SOMETHING WITH ALL THEIR IT KNOWLEDGE AND GURUS???? Interesting to note that this number starting with 03 suggestes Melbourne but then does a side turn with the start of a 7 ........!
