Multiple calls over multiple days. No voice messages left

Who are these bastards, they have access to both my mobile and land line numbers. They ring continually, do not leave a message if I let call go to answering machine. They are obviously scammers, trying to trap you into committing to something that you do not need. Best way to deal with these scumbags, is not to answer the phone and if you happen to, just hang up in their ear.

I didn't pick up but tried to call the number anonymously (private mode)
There was a dreamy sounding American female voice on an automated message saying :-"the number that you have dialed is not in service please check the number and try again.goodbye " !!!
