Caller: Scammer

Amazon scam (recorded message claiming order has been placed and will be billed with an hour unless you speak to a customer service rep).

The caller claims this is Amazon, I have apparently ordered a $ 300 gift card (I haven’t) order was placed in China. To cancel this transaction I’m told to go to App Store & download an app to allow remote access. Said I would contact my bank, I was told if I didn’t do any thing that my account would be debited in half an hour.

You owe 299 dollars and we will automatically deduct etc etc. SCAM OF COURSE.

Continually getting calls saying I have made an Amazon purchase and my account will be debited in one hour. I don’t have an Amazon acc. This number is the latest to try this scam.

Caller: Amazon Robot Call

It's a scam using Amazon as a front. Robot message says they will debit your account within an hour for something you didn't buy. When you call the number back you apparently get Amazon customer care. When queried and accused of scamming operator hangs up.
