Caller: Call centre “on behalf of the Government”

He said it was regarding my hot water service & a rebate for replacing the pump……Just another waste of time initiative. Or potentially a scammer, I didn’t waste any more of my time to find out.

Caller: Robocall

Standard scammer robocall that hangs up once it establishes your number as a real number. You will then get another call within a day or so with the actual scam (currently rebate scams).

I answered the phone at work and whoever was calling us, hung up after I said the name of our company. Clearly a scam call.
