Somebody claiming they were going to charge my account $299.00
If I didn’t agree to the charge I should press 1
I ignored the call.
Later I called and received a very low quality auto response saying I should stay on the line I would be transferred to the next available consultant.
But no indication of the company or type of business.
I am convinced this is a scam.

Called and left a recorded message to say I was going to be charged so many dollars. Then gave options by pressing 1 2 or 3 . So I looked up the number on here and saw others had this same call . I also saw that one response said Amazon debt call , but I disagree as I don’t have an Amazon account and I don’t owe any debt to any online shopping. So I agree with the other posts . It’s a scam

Caller: They claimed to be from ebay

Spoke with person who claimed to be with eBay. They said someone from Melbourne must have my information and started an account. He wanted to know if my phone was Android or iPhone. When asked why he needed to know he said it will help their IT department. I suggested I ring my bank so no payment come out he said my bank would not be able to help me. As soon as I said I had a friend who works in IT and that I would call them, the hung up.

As it was a unknown number I let it go to voicemail, they leave a shirt brief message to advise money will be taken from my account automatically if I don’t reply, then gave options press 1 for accept, 2 to stop or 3 to talk to a operator - scam so blocked the number , go a call at the same time yesterday from another unknown number message was left in Chinese

Didn’t answer, automated voice left message about cancelling my direct debit.

Left a voice message saying to press number 2 for a refund of $99.99

these people whi I could not understand a word they were saying said they were taking $299.99 for something I bought off ebay. I haven't been near ebay in months
