Caller: Environment Victoria

Not a scam, they work hard to protect the Victorian environment, look up their website, very legit company, have been operating for years. They do seek donations, but if you cannot afford it or not interested be polite please, they are mostly volunteers.

Called twice on Sunday. Read the comments about an organisation asking for money. I’ve had a lot of scam calls lately and this one came directly after those. So annoying and assuming this number must also be a scam.

I can't confirm or deny if they are from Environment Victoria. Two missed calls within a close span of each other with no voicemail left. The number differs from the official number on both Environment Victoria & Community Shapers website so I'm happy to block it under the assumption it's a scam :-)

There are exempt organizations to the Do Not Call registry.

Registered charities, educational institutions calling students, government bodies and, registered political parties are exempt. Might be more but those are the biggest pains in the behind that are exempt.

Environment Victoria, seems to be a registered charity so can call / bypass the DNC rules.

Caller: Spam Caller

Ignores the DNR . Reported to ACMA .. spam calls continuously.. if they are truely trying to save the environment, plant a tree and stop wasting resources… just another big scam…

Caller: Community Shapers on behalf of Environment Victoria

Environment Victoria confirmed for me that this organisation, Community Shapers does make calls soliciting donations on behalf of Environment Victoria.

Caller: A SCAMMER

Wanted money for some sort of environment thingy. Blocked number and reported to ACMA.
