Caller: Indian female claiming to be "Merry" from Telstra Unsolicited phone call on Friday evening 16th Nov 2018 offering to save money on current telstra bundle. Claimed to be from Telstra Solutions, she knew my full name, DOB, home address and phone numbers. Requested me to open an email which she sent with links to "docu sign" where I was required to enter my drivers license particulars and also a signature box for me to sign. Today (19th Nov) "Merry" called back demanding to know why I had not completed the email steps outlined - I then called Telstra to check that it was legitimate and there has been no calls made to me by them. At a complete loss as to how she has access to as many of my personal details as she did. Return email address for her was telstrasolutions @ leadersystems.com.au but email was generated from dse_NA3 @ docusign.net and contact landline number for them was (03) 7018 9528

Caller: (03) 7018 9528 Indian female reporting to be from Telstra and that my current contract was about to expire - which is correct. Had my email, my wifes email, DOB, current address (which only recently changed) but an incorrect drivers licence number.
Saying that I could sign up for a new iPhone 10i.... this is where I became suspicious, as there is no such thing as an iPhone 10i - at least in Australia.

Caller: Telstra This happened to me a woman with an accent, surprisingly had all of my info even drivers licence, I did confirm my email address and my DOB but said unsure of licence no as I didn’t have it on me to which she replied ‘it must be it as it’s the number in front of her. I became suspicious, she was going to forward email with details of better deal and call me back in 10 mins. I told her I couldn’t do anything unless my husband was involved. She was going to ring back Monday but didn’t, I’ve just received another call from them on this number but didn’t answer, decided to look this number up and can now see all of the time it’s a scam. I rang Telstra immediately after becoming suspicious and they had not rung me at all. Have reported to ACCC as the scammer had all of my info where they got it including my licence is baffling me. The original call came on Saturday 3rd Nov 2018 with no ID and again today 6th Nov 2018.

Caller: Indian Call Centre Someone called me from this number purporting to be from Telstra. Knew all my land line numbers and mobile numbers. Even gave me a Telstra ID number when I asked for it even though I have no idea if they exist or not. I told her I did not believe she was from Telstra and hung up. Five minutes later I got another call (this time from a blocked number) from the same company to discuss my mobile phone account. I told the women I was going to report her and she hung up very quickly.

Caller: Caller claims to be from Telstra. Indian accent and offered device incentive to re-contract with Telstra and a cheaper rate. Wanted me to sign form they were sending through and I needed to confirm drivers licence expiry date. Form was via a DocuSign website but plan info was very limited. Had several other calls the same day pressuring me to sign the form. Following day went to Telstra office where they have no knowledge of any of these offers. When I called number they gave me (7018 9528), no answer.
