I just got a call, took a while for the operator to speak on the other side and I had to insist twice about not being interested. Number blocked. Don't waste your time.

Caller: Energy Savers

They rang my mobile and an Indian lady said that she can save me on my electricity bill.
She said that the rates were going up.
She didn't know the tariff rates though.
I decided not to go with them. They wanted my credit card details and the CVV number.
They don't take PayPal. The manager then rang me. The tariffs he quoted were actually more expensive than AGL.

Caller: Woman with Filipino accent

Answered a call from this number. Female with Filipino accent calling herself "Jenny" claiming to be from Energy Savers said the call was about my electricity bill. I'm not even the account holder for electricity in my household nor have I ever held any electricity account in my name. Obviously a scam.

Caller: Fiona

A woman called Fiona asked me if I pay the electricity bills. I asked her where she is calling from and she replied “once you tell me if you pay the bills I will tell you where I am calling from” I hung up - 100% scam caller. No reputable company would refuse to disclose their company name! Wth. Block the number.

Phone number said it was coming from Melbourne.
