Called offering a 40% discount on my electricity but wanted me to confirm my date of birth. I said I didn't want to over the phone so she told me hers! Got annoyed when I still wouldn't tell her mine so she hung up.

called at least 5 times a day even at 10pm never leave any message. already blocked this number but somehow still can ring my mobile since last week.

Does anyone know how the hell these spammers get a hold of my number? Just what company is it that I signed up with that's either sold my details or signed me up to this spam? Very frustrating because blocking numbers doesn't seem to work, they'll just call me back with a different number.
