When said hello for second time I yelled hello assick of taking forever to connect when scammers call. Female Caller replied to me (female) with “why are you yelling you busted?” Number blocked.

I happened to be by the phone when it rang. I looked at Caller ID and didn't recognise the number so allowed the answering machine to accept it. They hung up.

Yes scammers! Claiming to be from Telstra, calling on a Saturday. Said that I had corrupt files on my computer which they noticed were downloaded 'last week' wanted 'help' me remove them from computer. I laughed and told them where to shove it.

This particular number calls me on a daily basis...sometimes twice a day, but they never leave a message on my answering machine. Tonight their call came in at 7:48pm. How can these be stopped?

Called claiming they were from Telstra, said we had a problem with our internet, tried to get us to log on to the computer, when we questioned where they were from for the 3rd time they promptly hung up the phone

Someone has been calling the landline twice a day for over a week usually in the morning and around lunch-time. When the call goes to the answering machine, the caller hangs up.

Several calls today saying they are from Telstra and that my internet has been hacked with illegal activity and multiple users. The last call used all these acronyms and even said what they were, then said I should type into my computer a special Id that they will provide to verify my details. On two calls I've asked them to verify my details and they've hung up and then I've asked on the most recent call if they could provide me with an email about the hacking but she ignored that, then I asked if they could provide me with a number to call them back on to verify that in fact they are Telstra and the hung up!!

Claimed they were from Telstra and called three times in a row saying "why did you hang up."
Then said "will you marry me?". Very strange and disturbing

Scam and very rude as well

Claiming to be from Telstra. They will ask "are you the main user of your PC we need to update our records" Hang up or tell them you don't have a computer. Alternatively, buy a good quality whistle and let them have it!

2 x calls from this number, hung up when answering machine kicked in.

Reported to ACMA DNCR and next time will block number.

Said they were from Telstra and I had a device using up 100GB of data on my server that I wouldn't be aware of. For one I don't have a server, that so raised alarm bells and the delay before anyone said hello when I first answered the call was another. I kept the Indian/Pakistani caller on the phone for a while and he wanted me to open the command window on my computer. This was the 3rd alarm bell, so I blasted him and hung up in his ear. This number has called me twice today, but hangs up when I answer. Going by what everyone else is saying, they are scammers.
If you are on the Do Not Call register and this number has spoken to you, make a complaint via the Do Not Call register site https://www.donotcall.gov.au/consumers/lodge-a-complaint/ That's they only chance we have of doing anything to stop them.

You know that it isn't really Telstra? They are scammers. DO NOT give them access to your equipment. NEVER give anyone access to your computers or modem

Yeah i just wish there was a way to jam a fist down there throat through the phone, F$*#ing hate scammers!

Had the same result as Jon yesterday. Do not appreciate these calls especially in the evenings.
