Called me on my mobile phone telling me my NBN was about to be switched off in 24 hours. On my mobile! Sounds like a scam to me.

I got a call from this number and luckily I didnt answer... they said that My phone and internet were due to be disconnected within 24hrs as the NBN was ready for my area and to press 1 to speak to a technician. I videoed the message and sent it to telstra and its a Scam. DO NOT PRESS 1. There is a link on telstras website to see when your area is NBN ready... mines not for quite some time. Bloody hackers!!!

Called me on my land line telling me my NBN was about to be switched off in 24 hours blah blah - i hung up

I had a call from this number on 1/3/2019. First I got a recorded message and then I was switched to a 'Telstra technician', who told me that hackers had invaded the new NBN, and that Telstra were switching it off. He then asked me so many questions that I became uncomfortable, and rang off. I tried to ring back it out of curiosity, but the words NOT POSSIBLE came up on the screen.

Definitely a phishing attempt...they use various CID's and are unrelenting in their phone calls.
Either block the caller or hang up...

Said it was NBN about to switch off my NBN as it was already available in my area and press 1 to speak to a technician. Did not make sense. Hung up.

The answer machine switched on but before the message started a voice began talking about the NBN and telling me to press number one. It talked over the top of the answering machine message
