Someone pretending to be from kindness project. Obviously a scam as Kindness Project states that they do not solicit donations via phone calls.

My phone automatically blocked this call, detecting it as a scam call. Based on other comments here and similar unsolicited blocked calls I've had in the last week, then I assume these have something to do with recent news of a hack that collected personal details of people who had donated to certain charities. Watch out for more charity scams as more data is leaked and sold on the dark web.

Caller: Female (Aussie accent)

Unknown female caller gushing all over me asking for donations. Didn't even know my name.

Keeps calling, I dont answer. I rang the number and a girl with a foreign accent said it was the Kindness Project

Wont leave message, rang back and there was a auto message and they identify who they are (speaker was Asian)

Didn't pick up as I don't recognise the number

Caller left message with an accent that I could not understand. The phrase I caught was “Kindness Project” so it could be a call soliciting for donations. Even if this was legit, I wouldn’t be handing over any personal info to an unknown caller.

I have no idea who this caller was as they did not leave a message. Have now blocked the caller and presume it to be either a charity, survey or scammer.
