Caller: Door dash

Not a scam.
When a shop uses door dash to sell their stuff, they don’t have access to the customers phone number and have to enter their contact number and then they get a call from door dash that connects them to the customer. The customer will then see that the call is coming from this number and not the store to protect both parties.
It’s is safe to answer.

Not a scam ! It’s DOOR DASH ! Answer they Called me because I ordered chocolate chip ice cream from iga and they had run out and wanted to ask me which flavour I wanted instead.

I don't know but I believe it is the restaurant called via Doordash as I was already speaking with Doordash for an issue. They did not leave a message.

You guys are saying it was a call from DoorDash concerning order I asked door dash driver when he got here if he had rang he said no was everything in my order there yes he said
So have no idea who it was no message left and do not answer

I got a call from this number. It was from Tasmania and it was late so I didn’t answer (also I rarely answer calls I don’t know). I then searched the number online and read the replies here which was very helpful thank you everyone. When I read the replies saying doordash called them, I quickly checked the DD app and my driver was typing. He said the ice cream machine broke and which other flavour would I like. So I am assuming the person who called was the store employee

Assuming it was doordash connecting me to the place i ordered from about the refund i received from them when i got 4 donuts different to what i asked for, didn’t call me when it happened and just wrote on the receipt that it was out of stock which i dont believe is good enough to just assume what someone wants but whatever

Restaurant calling about an order I placed on Door Dash. One item unavailable, tried to edit the order but they lost the whole order. Asked me to reorder.

I think it was Doordash they called 3 times and i answered on the 3rd one but they immediately hung up when I answered. My order was delivered with no issues though
