Caller: Charity Scam

They called but didn't leave a message. I blocked my number and called back. Got a recorded message.
"Calling from one of Australia's leading charity but can't take your call right now".
The name of "one if Australia's leading charities " was not mentioned in the message.
SCAM! All charities state their name.

More scams.. another one makes it to the phone block list..... its a shame you can only fit 250 records in the landline.... you need 1000 per year

Caller: Claimed to be URcommunity

Seemed like a normal charity call with a very nice and friendly English speaking woman. When I started insisting on donating via their website the woman kept wanting to pass me on to her supervisor to get my details, even after giving the website address. I eventually hung up, went to the website (urcommunity.org.au) which looked legitimate, but I suspect had simply been copied from urcommunitytimesharing.org.au.

How can these numbers still get through to my mobile number.
I am so sick and tired of these overseas numbers invading my privacy.
Can't Telstra do something to stop them.
They, Telstra should have EVERY CUSTOMER PROTECTED form this.
