Got a call from this number on 10/06/22 and just cancelled the call before they could get to VM. If they're real and need to reach me they'll try again.

Caller: Charity scammer

Asking me if I knew how many australians were going hungry now. Obviously setting me up for a guilt donation. I've heard her voice on other scam call too. Australian accent. She hung up when I started to say that I understood ? However, what a horrible person soliciting money for the needy, but she is basically a cunning thief. I wonder if voice recognition will catch her one day? I hope so.

Stupidly answered the call and silence at the end and hung up after 10 seconds. Obvious scam call to test to see if a viable number. Expecting an onslaught of spam calls now

I didnt answer and wont. The old rule->>> dont answer, they are checking if yours is a valid number. If you answer and block, theyve still got many other numbers to call you from.

I answered and it just had a clicking sound , blacklisted the number

I answered the phone, didn't speak and I had the feeling the line was recording my non response. Spooky, and after 30 secs I heard them hang up. Many years ago this sort of call was commonplace when I lived in St Petersburg.

No friend or relatives in Hobart, Tasmania. Scam call!
