ID said Hobart Tas. Reading the above comments indicates a scammer. Don't answer it.

Why am I paying Telstra for a home phone when we get bombarded with these scam calls on a daily basis ?? Surely Telstra would have the technology to stop these scam callers that seem to be originating from overseas.. Has got to the stage where we no longer answer our home phone and let it go to message bank..If the caller leaves a message and it's someone we know, we return their call..

I don,t answer unless I know the number - if it is fair dinkum they will leave a message. They didn't leave a message

I never give out my land line number or know anyone in Tasmania so suspect scam based on frequency of calls.

Hung up straight away and when you call back says the number is not in service.

They hang up when you say HELLO.
