Caller left message on answering machine saying an amount of 300 Pounds had been debited from my credit card and to press 1 if I authorised it. Deleted call

Caller did not speak. I did not speak. The call lasted 1-2 minutes with no one saying anything. Blank clear line with no one responding. Suspect a scam.

Caller: Said they were from the NBN Told me that there was a virus in the system and needed me to turn on my computer. Despite telling them I had lots of Internet security and wanted confirmation they said they would provide it but continued to ask me questions I.E 'Is your system Apple or Windows."

Caller: Telstra??? Caller claimed to be telstra. Call dropped after approx. 5 seconds. Think its a scam

Phone not answered as I was on another call. They didn't leave a message, number was perpetually engaged when I tried to call back four times over an hour. Suspect political or scam.
