Caller: I don't know, waffled on about Solar & I hung up. Did mention Federal Govt! Surely illegal!!

I am so fed up with receiving unwarranted unknown calls. I have silenced all calls not in my contact list, however, it is time consuming when I then have to block the call, delete the number, delete the "missed call" message. Surely the telephone providers should be able to block them beforehand!

I answered the call with a simple "Hello". When I do not recognises the number I do not say my name just in case it is a phishing expedition. If it turns out to be a legitimate call, I then apologise for not answering properly and explain why. So far every one is understanding and thinks it's a good idea.

Anyway, the called said her name and something about the federal government. I didn't get 60% of it (including her name) because of her accent. Then she asked if I have solar panels... I hung up. I know it's rude, but I am so fed up with these sort of calls, and the less time I am on the phone with them the less time they have to get info from me verbally, electronically, or by what ever means they use.
