This number is calling me regularly .... scam ... Australian Tax Office

Called me 6 times already. Recorded message says its Nicky Johnson from ATO and I or my lawyer need to get in touch with this number. I called ATO and they said it was definitely a scam as ATO will always ask for a person by name.

Not impressed - but thankful we can look this rubbish up, so that people are not unnecessarily worried, i.e, my poor Great Grandmother.

Telstra needs to disconnect this number immediately! But i BET THEY WON'T BECAUSE IT WILL LOOSE THEM REVENUE

Today I revived this scam calls with recorded female voice and the same ATO message

Me too ! the ATO number is 13 28 65 and they wouldnt have a recorded message to call them, they would just call! or send letter to call !!! Scam

can't believe why they ringing? one call in a day.. exact same time... with curiosity rang back.. no response... can't be bothered.. blocked the number.

I think if there is any issue with ATO, they will send a post mail... i don't think so they got my mobile number.

it's amazing how these people are calling from various numbers.. and i have received at least one call per day from these people through different numbers... very frustrated

Same as all other comments. I went to the police and they didn't even want to know about it... why doesn't someone shut this down I am getting sick of the calls. I have received about 5 now.

We received few calls and recorded message- when I returned the call the guy told me same thing about the ATO charges , i requested him to send me an email and he stared swearing in HINDI which unfortunately we understood. My husband swore at him back and discounted the phone

Just had the same call.

Bastards called me too. I have reported them to ATO so they can investigate. Spoke for good 20 minutes and was told I owed ATO money and I will be arrested in 1.5 hours once they lodge the case in commonwealth court. When I asked for sometime they advised to wire lump sum money through western union to their accountant and rest I can pay in 3 months. ATO advised no calls were made from their office and took details.

We have had calls from this number requesting call back - this is a scam I have had ATO calls and they always ask for me in person and know who they are calling.

Received a call from this number twice today. A female recorded voice talking about legal action from the ATO. Sounds to be exactly the same as other complaints on this website for this number.
