Politicians have exempted themselves from the do not call register and this is what these survey tools use to legitimise their abuse.

Yep, survey for upcoming election in Braddon (North West Tasmania). One BIG problem!!!! I don’t live in that electorate.... but they keep trying!

Rang the number back as I am continually getting calls on my mobile from this number and it is reaching the stage of being harassment. They were Community Engagement and were compliant under the 2017 Do Not Call Register act. Leave a message with the number being call and a contact number and they will look at it. Gave them the number, take me off the list, this is my phone, it is not for surveyors to contact me for an automated survey.

I didn’t pick up because I was on another call when they rang. I called them back. They’re called Community Engagement (or something similar). They do research surveys. Their recorded message assures us that they are “fully compliant” with the Telecommunications Act.

Ring but don't leave message. Sick of political surveys, solar companies and others who phone several times daily. Not convenient for people in ill health to walk to the phone to find it is another unsolicited number.

They called me more than 10 times over the past few days. Don’t leave a message but if I answer there is silence then they hang up
