Had many calls from this number
It is a scam

spam has been reprted to taxation dept.

This is clearly as scam.

Got called 3 times in one day, rang back and was told it was the ATO, definite scam do not answer all call back.

I've had 3 calls from this number today. I answered the first one and there was no one there so I hung up. I haven't answered the following 2 calls.

very persistant, 6 calls today.
No answer on the other end.
Now assigned to my "spam callers" contact list

Had a missed call - went to messagebank and said I needed to call this number and not to ignore or they would start legal actions.

I called number (before I'd heard the message", as I saw was a missed call - and guy with Indian sounding voice said it was ATO (although he was hard to understand) and asked me if I called because I got a message or because of a missed call. When I said missed call, he started talking Indian flavoured speak, which was hard to understand, I heard ATO and taxation office and then I cottoned on and hung up.

I have been called several times by this number recently. I keep missing it, so I called back... Kevin Petersen from the ATO!!!! I asked if this was a direct line to his desk and if he could confirm the spelling of his name and what department he was in... He hung up!

Have just received a call and message from this number with a woman saying that I needed to return this call straight away and to not ignore.
I rang and spoke to "Kevin Peterson" who told me he was from the Taxation Department and that I should have received a letter, which I hadn't. He told me I owed $4000 and he could take my house! He was very aggressive and shouted at me on the phone.

Had the same message left on our landline last night, tried to call back but does not connect.
Tax Office has confirmed it is a scam and not to give out any details

Two calls today - no response on answer and both hung up after about 9 seconds.
