Probably scammers. The phone number has an (03) prefix, (Melbourne/Vic), but call came from Hobart. Didn’t leave message. I have blocked them.

I received calls from them,but did not answer. No message left, twice the call ended itself. Scams.

Caller ID was Hobart, Tasmainia. Went through to voicemail. Caller sounded like they were in a call centre. Said my name twice and ended the call. Tried to call the number back (using work mobile) and call was unable to be made.

Annoying Scam caller could also be using an Albury number (02) 6088 6511 and also (02) 8357 5482 these three numbers ring my mobile at close intervals I don’t answer and keep blocking. Sick of this number getting past my block.

rang 3 times and hung up no vmail left.
Don't know how these scammers manage to get our numbers.

My thanks to to all of the people who've reported these scammers. I just had a call from them but they hung up after about 3 rings. I've now blocked the number

I have a license picture which they send to me. How i can report against them?

"How did they take your $8K? I too got a call from them offering 30% discount on bills. They had paid the bills at 30% off and I got it verified with the retailers. But I really skeptical about the way they operate"

They did me a fraud and took $8k approx. They made a drama of discount in bills. I send them all bills and paid according to them 30% off in the total amount. I pray to God to stop others from being a fraud.

Got two calls in the last week Jason o'connor saying I am fraud and that the cops will have a warrant out for me call me back on this number (03) 9107 9624 that's nice never called it back

Tried the same with me today (4/12/2015). Hope the ATO Fraud section gets onto them before they catch someone out with this BS scam.

Had a call, which I answered, said he was from the ATO and I was being investigated for tax evasion (obviously had me confused with Al Capone!!) I said "well I guess that you can quote me my tax file No. which of course he couldn't Then I proceded to ridicule him for being a pathetic scammer and suggested he go back to scam scool , I then said a few disparaging remarks about his ethnicity and parentage. you get the point! He rang again left a message on answering mach tow days later. Arrest, lawsuit, coppers etc.
Do they think we are brainless. Just ignore it, or amuse yourself as I did.

Same tax scam as in previous comments - don't fall for it - they need to be stopped!
