This number rings almost every day after midday and there is just dial tone - I have plugged the number in and given it the name Scam so when it rings I will be told "Call from Scam"

Fake Telstra (Indian Guy)
Scam call, wanting you to go online and go to a certain site so they can fix your internet, they claim IPS has been taken over and used by others in California.
SCAM SCAM SCAM...
If you get such a call (ever) Just hang up go to your phonebook and call the company
that they claim to be from. at least then you know who you have on the other end of the line.

Answered but then had a machine say goodbye

Said Telstra . Called asked if my partner was owner of computer. She said she was .
I got on and asked who it was . When they heard my male voice they hung up.
Why don't we ALL send emails or go to Telstra office and give these details . I will if others will . They can't ignore us all

After i answered all i heard was a female who sounded like she was doing the deed and moaning...then it hung up..

Caller: Scammers

Call centre keeps calling me, when I answer, there is no one to take y call so the computer says "goodbye". The same number has called numerous times before and they pretend to be Telstra.

Twice so far today. So sick of these thieves.

Caller: Scamming Indians

They call, wait and either hang up or start with their lies about being from Telstra. Get these callers every single day.

Perhaps the real Telstra can do something about them....but they won't.

Has called three times in the last hour!

Caller: Non English speaking person

Advised that our Telstra Phones and Internet will be disconnected due to technical issues and I need to speak with him for information. We get several of these each week....VERY annoying. Why cant Telstra trace these calls they must have some way of tracing them

Caller: I'll Never Know

Number keeps calling and hanging up, upon returning the call it just does the beeping that you get when you hang up on someone

They also said they were from Telstra and they had identified a problem with my PC.
Obviously a scam

Caller: Name was Austin, said was from Telstra

Different callers each day - driving me crazy. All have sounded Indian

Caller: Telstra? Oh, yes, I believe that!

Said that my internet was going to be be disconnected tomorrow. Bit difficult. I'm not a Telstra customer!

Rings multiple times a day ..then hangs up ...sometimes saying selling life insurance or selling solar panels ....a complete nuisance....they sometimes ask for personal data like DOB ....i need to find out how to block the number .

wish we could stop such pesky calls!
