Telemarketers or scammers etc. spoofed this phone number which belongs to my parents landline, without us knowing about it or any way to stop it.
My parents number is Private so it would never show up on caller ID, therefore it's easy to know it's been spoofed. Please just block the number. Thanks

Caller: Indian fellow

An Indian fellow claimed to be calling about a problem with my NBN, quoted my mobile number which isn't the primary number on the account, couldn't give me the primary number on my account.
When I repeatedly asked if this was a scam, and why did he think my service provider wouldn't call me, he called me "F***ing stupid", confirming he wasn't legitimate.
I told him he was the stupid one, calling from a number that comes up in caller ID.
He hung up on me after some more expletives.
