Phone call this morning. man with accent ? North American maybe from India stating they were from the ATO and I was wanted for tax evasion and there was a warrant out for my arrest.
Reported to Australian Tax Office ( the legitimate one!)

Scammers 'claiming to be tax office 'and warrent for arrest 'i laughed at ther attempt to scam me lol 'they hung up 😂😂😂

They also use (03) 5902 7991. Same scam but different number, only last digit different.

Tax scammers. There's a warrant out for my immediate arrest. Someone at the door - so scared .....not!!!!. Hope they catch these creeps.

Yes this is a scam and very threatening. I have recorded the message.

Didn't answer call, left message, started with incomplete number, it was then repeated.
No other details except, do not ignore this call. It was a recording although made out to be real person.

Hid my number then rang back, couple of rings then hung up.
