Rang ato it a scam

I got same call today. I called back and that is voice message. I believe this is scam but wondering what they can get through a voice call ?

I too was called with a recored message from a Michael Andrews claiming to be from the ATO and saying I should call back regarding a tax evasion charge.

Scammer sayin he is from ATO, says If I don't contact him on this number immediately the federal police will have a warrant for my arrest. Sounds like an indian man calling himseld Mark Anderson. So sick of this bullsh*t!

I got a call this morning from this number saying that they were from the A.T.O. I tried to say something but their talking still went on as if it was a recording. I hung up as I thought it to be a scam.

he just rang my wifes phone whil she was in the shower got recorded msg so i rang the numberback he answered saying it was the ato told him he is a scammer and he hung up on me

Can you believe this I just received a call from this number, the first thing that went into my head was....mmm I'll do the reverse phone look up, I had a feeling ( plus I'm an intuitive healer and my abilities have been revving up lately) BINGO I checked voicemail message, yep ATO legal complaint (haha),I must get back to them asap! Oh its this time of the year!

I just had the same call claiming tax invasion, that's definitely not me. Sounded like was recorded not answering.

I have just received a call from Indian male calling himself Michael Anderson saying they have a complaint against my name on the invoice on my name and requested me not to ignore their message but to call them back on the above number.

This is another SCAM. Tax debt to be precise. How I have a large amount outstanding that I have to pay before they arrest me & take it to court. DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO THESE SCAMMERS. Just report this

Received a recorded message to my mobile 4.7.2017 allegedly from a Michael Anderson in the ATO. Claimed I had defrauded the ATO. Requested an immediate phone back and advised "Do not ignore this message".
It was a northern American 28 year old male voice with a degree of nervousness in the delivery despite the reading of a script.

Caller claims that i am being sued for tax evasion and tax fraud for not supplying a tax return in the last five years.Claimed amount payable was nearly $4000. Bastards,nearly got me rattled.Dont bother returning their call

Michael Clarke with Philipino accent claiming my phone number was reported for tax evasion

Looks like recorded message person name same as mentioned in other message, Matthew Clark. Mentioned about legal action and to call back.
