They said it was Amazon and were charging me $300 for my purchase, definitely a scam, haven't bought anything from Amazon for ages. So sick of these people claiming to be Amazon and also those claiming to be Telstra, wish they would get honest jobs and stop trying to fleece unsuspecting people.

The call had already hung up before I could get to the landline. Called back from my mobile (number hidden): "Optus advises the number you've called is disconnected."

Caller: Amazon 'Thank you for placing an order with Amazon....' I haven’t placed an order with them for ages so hung up as I didn’t know if it was a scam. I only put my mobile number on Amazon purchase not landline and this phone call came through on my landline a few minutes ago. Sounded like an automated recording.
