Caller: Lisa Collins Charity Choice

Sophisticated scam. Computer generated voice enhanced to sound genuine. Fake charity - Charity Choice, calls from different numbers all around Australia. Scam call - hang up.

This number has called a few times, no message. Appreciate other reports here. Blocked. Perhaps Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and Aust Cyber Security could get onto these SCAMS, would save a lot of angst and hesitancy to answer the phone.

Caller: Benalla

Benalla is a place in Victoria. It's a nice place: they have a lake, and arts centre, and a pretty impressive public rose garden. But I don't have anyone in Benalla that would want to call ol' Granny at the moment. So that's another one blocked...

Don"t waste your time "Do Not Call Register" don't do anything, I talk to them more than ones and they said that after 1,200 complains about a number, then will start to look on that.

Caller: Charity Choice

It’s a scam wanting to ask you questions and ask for a one off donation. The lady speaks very well and has called me multiple times and each time she’s from a different charity eg. youth suicide, homelessness etc.

Tried to sound legit but is a advanced AI.
just tell them to f off.
nothing works except blocking until the next number.

Scam caller l did not listen long enough as soon as l heard the call clearly divert to a "call centre" type of environment with loads of background noise

Another number to block, they don’t leave a msg so unimportant 🤷‍♀️ If it is a charity they’re apparently exempt from DNC register…does not apply to charities.

Goh so over these scam numbers have been getting several of them the past month or 2 and have been blocking them for days but seems to not work when they try call on different numbers all the time Grrrrrr

this was a charity call to as they said gage my interest after i said i wasn't instreted they kept pushing so i hang up and added them to my tele marker list i get sick of these people ring and not listening after i say no

Didn't answer although this lot held their call for ages! Will block it.

Just answer with local police station how may I help you . .. I do that and when they hear the words police stationthey can't hang up quick enough try it it works and scares them off
