A man with an (Indian?) accent says he is calling regarding the federal government solar rebate. He hung up when I (not so nicely) told him the number he was calling is on the do not call register and I've had enough of these calls!

Ditto what Leslie said. I am so sick of these friggin curry munchers!!
Why can't Telstra or our own government protect us from these 'fake' local numbers that don't exist when you ring them back? So much for the Don't Call Register.

4.13am call this morning,again at 1.20pm this arvo,really not only am I on the "do not call register" but my phone number is suppose to be silent (unlisted,)even had Saturday calls obviously they don't know the day of the week or how to tell the time

Get a Vtech phone with a phone guard. Only problem is it fills up with no. Pretty quick, can also block all calls that don't display a number

Called just before noon, answering machine picked up before I could, but no voicemail left. Am also on do not call register.

I am sick and tired of getting these calls!!! The person responsible should be charged for scamming and some people fall for their calls
