The conversation started as I''m calling from telstra tech support department saying they will suspend my internet connection from tomorrow for the next 40 days due to my computer being infected by something.

I've asked what i needed to do, and he said i needed to delete my activity log file which was from where the hackers were coming in to my computer.

Then he proceeded to guide me through installing Team Viewer on my machine so he could help me find where this file was and delete my log file.

I've asked him to prove that he was from Telstra, give me his employer ID which he gave me a 4 digit number that is not normally related to employers ids from telstra.

Then i've asked him how does he knows my computer is infected, he said he got a report from the "international routing department" (whaaat???)

I started asking him more questions, and thats when he freaked out and hang up the phone.
