We have been receiving these calls since lodging a compaint through the Telecommunications Ombusman. Now it appears as though I may have to lodge another one! We are currently signed-up with AAPT, but since we have experienced this, along with another two issues (1.Being given incorrect advice regarding our faulty mobile that should still be under warranty and 2. Being charged for calls not made and not being charged for calls that we have made) we are reconsidering.
The calls are made via our home and mobile numbers, are made throughout the day and night (up until 9pm) and they never leave a message. This has become so annoying that I am seriously considering blowing a loud whistle through the darn phone when it happens again later today;)
I am however relieved that we are not the only ones enduring this harrassment. Strange goings-on thats for sure!

My Mum has been receiving this type of call for weeks. She has a land line with AAPT and she is elderly and lives alone in a remote place. She is pretty shaken up by what she thinks are prank calls.
What is the number she can dial to check what number the calls are coming from?
If it's actually AAPT we will be quite relieved.

Same thing, phoner rings - no answer, I am in brisbane also AAPT customer.

Same thing happening to me too - and im also an AAPT customer
emily - there is no point blowing a whistle down the phone line - its a computer calling you not a real person - which is meant to connect you to a real person within 60 secs
