Caller: 'Energy Company'

They said they were from an energy company and said they believe I am the person who pays the energy bill. When I said I wasn't, they asked for the name of the person who is.

I picked up but didn't say anything, they then hung up straight away without saying anything. Obviously scammers.

Got the same message, didn't answer it, as it is a Ballarat area number, and I don't know anyone's phone number in that area.

Caller: Indian telemarketer or scammer in a call centre.

It's one of those mass calls that they do and connect to you when say something on your side of the phone.

Caller: Michael from benefit electricity

Received 2 missed calls from this number. I don’t have voicemail set up on my phone, so I called the number back and Michael answered, said he was from “benefit electricity”. Tried to switch me to a different electricity provider even though I told him I don’t manage the electricity bills. Blocked.
