So sick of these people calling my PRIVATE number! No matter how many times I ask them to remove my number and not call back... surprise surprise, they persist. When is something going to be done about this?????

Don’t answer, and certainly don’t answer and yell at them or do something stupid like play cotton eye joe at them, they get paid every time somebody answers full stop.

Guy called claiming to be from my electricity provider (unnamed), "Shane" with sub-continent accent was the name given .... yeh right! SCAM so blocked number but I ask generally, how is it that I receive so many of these calls and more particularly when I have registered on the Government provided DNCR which sadly, like many "official" governemnt bodies, is a waste of time & resource as it does not work as intended

Thanks guys, for letting us know that it is a spam/scam. I'm glad I decided to ignore this number every time it rings. I've been receiving tons of electric bills phone calls lately that they are driving me crazy.
