Caller: Fake company

Wanted to make appointment to upgrade light globes. Claiming to be in area tomorrow.

HINT: Every time I get a phone call from these low-life buggers. I dial *60 in front of their number it rings a few times. Then I get an operator pick up & say the number is not in SERVICE. Which I LOVE cause they can NO LONGER CALL ME ON THEIR NUMBER!

I received a call from this number, the man said he will be in my area tomorrow and can put new lights for me, he wanted to know what time I would be available. I told him, since he had my address, he could leave the lights at my front door and I would change it myself. He shouted that I should stop my Asian mentality and then proceeded to laugh when I asked why he called me Asian and when I told him he should not call me again, he said he will call again and again and I can’t do anything about it.

made appointment to call at 2pm next day to change lights to led. no show. have tried number several times and after long wait gives engaged signal. so glad I have got onto this website and found out it is a scam. also furious as I took out most of globes to make it easier for them.

Caller: "Free" light bulb installers

Wanted to make an appointment for "qualified electrician" to install energy efficient light bulbs. Told him wasn't interested and that when we were, would choose someone from the government's list of approved suppliers. He argued with me, so I hung up.

Said he was changing light globes throughout the state, I said I live in the Northern Territory, he called me a liar, I asked to be removed from the list and said he would make sure I get calls every half an hour. Very threatening.

I have my phone on answering machine and they always hangup on it. I thought I had these guys beat but guess what, I had an Indian Gentleman at my door trying to get in and yes it was all about LED Globes.... Didn't let him in, I said I had plenty and didn't want any.....A bit like that film The life Of Brian!

The caller knew my name and name of the street I live in. He wanted to make an appointment for tomorrow to come and upgrade my light globes. This was the 3rd similar call I have had this week. I hung up on him and blocked the number.

Pest caller - dammed sick of these scam callers let them go to message bank they always hang up.
It's always a number that appears to be in your area code just so you think it's someone you may know

we were unavailable but 3 calls recorded on our home phone at 11.59 am, 12.39 pm and 12.51 pm on 3/2/2020

Hung up when answered - landline ringing at same time with a private number. Looks like the scammers are on the lose again

I have call guardian activated where the caller has to press # and identify themselves - this number never does, I rang the number back and got "no one is at extension ****"

Scam about money been transferd out of my bank nat to west pac

Did not recognise number (on home phone NBN) 4:30pm... let it go to voice mail and "they" hung up straight away. Blocked.

Phoned on a private second line in to the business that isnt used. Only internal line. Line 2. Probably light globe exchange as mentioned above

this number kept calling, eventually i answered it was replacement globe...i told them to stop and i didnt want the globes, he was rude so i hung up. get a call today from same number and he does not answer just hangs up..
