Caller: 52940530 Called my mum, told her there was a government rebate for over 60's for utilities. Needed her pension card number and account number on bill. Then asked he to go to the shop and buy a $500 apple gift card and read the number. And that will get her the rebate. The opportunity to take up the rebate expires today so she better act fast or miss out. Even offered to stay on the line to her while she went to the shop.

Caller: Stewart offering a seniors discount for Gas Bill capped at $300 - if I purchase an Apple Gift Card and pay my bill at any post office. The kicker was I need to purchase the card now from the nearest shop and read out the card number. They also want your Seniors card details.
