Called and hung up. Didn’t leave message.

Came up in a message as a missed call but phone had not even rung. Similar number to several “calls” yesterday.

Had 2 calls yesterday, didn't answer them. They accidently left a voicemail which sounded like it was in a call centre. Rang again today, answered but stayed silent. They hung up immediately.

Local number but came up as Newtown which is where most scam calls about light globes etc some from. Rang 3 times at hourly intervals, no message left.

Caller: I am uncertain whether potential scam or bona fide call

Very strongly accented male voice offering electric meter usage device. Supposedly free of charge paid by Victorian Government initiative. Even if true, surely the register ought to record addresses where already installed? Said I already had 1 and hung up.

I called back - number not connected!!!

No message left..possibly on a phishing trip...
