Some kind of call centre - scam?? answered, said hello, the usual pause then they "answered" just heard a whole lot of garble to start with then the line improved and could hear background chatter that sounded like Indian accents

Heard garbage then they hung up

Caller: Who knows, scammers

At first it looked like a local number, but let it go to answering machine as I was busy. A lot of nothing, strange wave like sounds (from a landline?) then some mumbled garbage in a foreign accent. They just don’t give up, random diallers spoofing Australian phone numbers. Get a life!

Hung up when I answer like so many before from similar numbers.
