When trying to call back I get a message saying the number has been disconnected

Caller: Some install scam

Install scam claiming to install a free device in my area which will connect to my power

No message- blocked.

Absolute hard sell from these guys. My repeated calls were because they were coming to town on a Saturday and wanted to make a time to install a power meter reader thingie. Told them it wasn’t suitable to come and they were rude. Third call for the day I gave as good as I got lolololol

Caller: Another Indian

Claiming to be from government scheme to install device in home. Gave me an incorrect postcode and then wanted me to tell him my actual postcode. When I asked for my name or the name of whoever he was supposed to be calling, he just kept repeating "Hello?" Like he couldn't hear me until he hung up. Likely scammers. Never give anyone any details unless they can provide you with your own details first

'Government' free heating @#$%&*

Called 4.23pm & 6.20pm No voicemail left both times. Says local call is from Newport. I didn't bother to call back to try to find out. Instead I looked it up here. I felt it was scammers

Free fan? provided by Government to be installed, when I said I don’t do anything over the phone, he started talking faster,I terminated the call.. scammer .. blocked call

Caller: Unsolicited nuisance

This number called while at school pick up so I missed it, although it’s an unknown number so I wouldn’t have answered anyway. Shows up as a silenced call from Newtown in Victoria. Judging by other comments here no good comes of this, it’s joining the blocked list.

Caller didn't leave a message. When I tried to called back, it says that call could not be connected. So annoying.

Called straight back and got a message that number is disconnected, very suspicious!!

Called, no message left, blocked

Spammer, when you ring it back says not connected...
