I usually don't answer calls and let them go straight to my voice mail but on this occasion I did because if was a local number and was fooled. Like the comment above they want to know if you have solar panels and not just for hot water.

Caller: Solar panel scammers

Idiot calls me by name and wants to know if I have solar panels installed. Using a local number doesn't fool me, I have heard the voice and the background sound so I know this is a call centre illegally trying to sell solar panels on behalf of some local company who has the gall to put my name and number on a list. If anyone ever gets a call like this just hang up. If they pressure you report them to the police. If they show up at your house, arm yourself and be ready for them. Call your local politicians at home at an inconvenient time and tell the halfwits to do something about this mess. Don't bother with any solar company who employs these criminals.
