Claimed to be Aussie Broadband and wanted my full name and DOB. When I said I didn't know it read them and I meant giving it those details, she (woman with Aussie accent) stairs they'd email which I said was ok because I could check an email wasn't fake. No email every arrived. Thus assuming it's a scam and blocking number.

Caller: Aussie Broadband The call was from Aussie Broadband support to confirm my internet and voice services were operating correctly after online help to set up my new Internet service. The online support I received was nothing less than exception.

Answered the call because they called 5x in a row even after I declined the call. When I answered they started speaking in Chinese so I hung up and then they called me again straight away. I ended up having to block the number because they wouldn’t stop calling

A man called and spoke Mandarin directly to me. He knew my legal name, before I could clarify further, he hung up the phone.

Caller: Said in text Aussie Broadband Multiple calls, all saying they are following up on a query I made. I made no query, and did no search - so either Aussie Broadband has a new marketing strategy, or their number is being spoofed. Either way it doesn't look good and i have blocked the number.
