Said she was calling about the Australian Government's free hot water system upgrade program. Asked me if I am the owner of the house. I told her that I'm not prepared to share any information about the ownership of the house I am living in. Asked her how she got my number and she said the Database Management of Australia.. Told her I believed it was a scam and suggested she get herself a job working for an honest legitimate employer. She said that she would remove my name from her list.

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Rang, didn't leave a message. Accidentally called the number - not connected.

Caller: Lady from the Victorian Government

Called at 7.18pm during our family dinner. Wanted me to talk about LED lamps, shower roses and hot water. WTF. I told her she was rudely disturbing me and my family. She didn't take the hint and wanted to extend the conversation so I told her to hold on, then I went back to the dinner table and simply forgot about her.
