got called at 11:42am WST on 16/5/2018.

Picked up out of curiosity, even though it was an eastern states number. There was a good 3-5 seconds of dead silence before suddenly it hissed a bit and I started hearing the background noise of a very active, busy call center. Said hello a few times, took about 5 seconds for a female to start saying hello back. At this point from the background noise I could tell this was likely to be a telemarketer so I hung up.

Asking for Credit Card details

Claims he is calling from the "Call Blocking" department. First wanted to know if I was the owner of the telephone number, I asked what this was in regards and got the call blocking answer. He went quiet for a few seconds when I said hello again, the guy started the spiel again, then hung up. Still scratching my head, and disappointed because I really wanted to hear all his BS; "Call Blocking Department" really, how dumb do they think I am.
