Appeared on my phone as "suspected scam" so didn't answer. Thanks to all who have left msgs advising that it's a nuisance call.

Add my disgust to everyone else who has received these type of calls.
Put an end to these scammers. Now.
Never answer unknown numbers & never will nowadays with all our data out for every scammer to use.

Called at 10:50am on Sunday morning. Didn’t answer and they didn’t leave a message. Will block after seeing other comments here.

Same as the others. Tyrendara came up. Only know where it is as I went on holiday in Port Fairy mid year and drove through it one day going to Portland. No message left. Obviously spoofing a number. Funny I’ve had several from the western part of Victoria from Geelong right asking but none from the east of the state.

Didn’t pick up. Number blicked

I’ve blocked this number but somehow still keeps calling. From Tyrendarra Victoria

Called 4:30pm, went to message then hung up. If they don't leave a message, it's not important.

call from Tyrendarra, which is a small farming community in western Victoria with a population of 198
why would anyone from Tyrendarra call me?

Suspected scam

Recorded voice asking if I wished to participate in a survey about the upcoming State Election.
Press One for blah-blah ect.
Hung up and I will wait till the Polling Booth opens and make my confidential vote then!

Left voicemail claiming to be a political survey. Said who would you vote for press 1 for so and so. Press 2 for so and so. Press 3 etc. Will block and delete.

The number is not a genuine CALLER ID. Most likely a scammer who has gained access to Australian phone numbers from a cybersecurity breach, say, OPTUS.

Received a call from this number at 7:30pm. Didn’t answer as the number looked odd. Called back to see if it was a legitimate number. No surprise to get a recording telling me that the call could not be connected. Obviously a scam.
