These scammers just add more stress to those like me has been compromised from this data breach. I also wonder why these scammers are not detected by the telco provider.

Even the scamming lowlifes usually leave you alone on a Sunday - thank heaven for small mercies - but not this number. Of course there was no message left so it was undoubtedly a scammer, and I will now block the number (only the ten thousandth I've blocked in recent years) since they're known pests.

I'll add that referring to the Do Not Call Register is ... let's say a waste of effort. As we well know if we have signed up to it, it is not an international police force of some sort that's trying to shut down the industrial-scale scam call centres being operated by criminal gangs from Albania and Nigeria to Laos and India. There is absolutely no point whatsoever in reporting scam calls unless you have enough information about the call, and have perhaps suffered a financial loss, to report the matter to Scam Watch.

Don't answer calls from unknown numbers, ever. Block numbers you get repeated calls from.

They call i'm busy they don't leave a message i guess that explains everything. They have secrets to hide. A scammer perhaps the elections are coming up i will vote for whoever can and will stop these morons

I never answer these calls from random unknown locations. At least the origination of the call is visible.

Didn't answer. I've had multiple calls in the last week from Torquay, Dundonnell and Wingeel which everyone else has reported as scammers. I understand the do not call list does not apply to scammers - but could the government introduce a reporting system to promptly investigate complaint numbers and somehow make them inactive??

Have received 2 calls from this number, both times no message left. Based on other posts, agree this is likely dodgy. Have blocked.

Ph said incoming call was from Victoria Valley. I did not pick up, because I don't know anyone from there. It is about an hour away from the town others here have listed.
