Caller: Unknown I received a call from this number claiming to be The Commonwealth Bank Security Team, calling about payments made on my debit card. The call got disconnected so I called Combank back directly and they confirmed this was definitely not them and it was a phishing call.

Caller: NAB Fraud department - english speaking man Really good scam. super polite. knew my first name. and first 4 digits on card. didn't ask for personal information. Asked relevant questions regarding usual purchases i would generally make. Phone number was from Bendigo. Even quoted the Financial Claims Services and gave me a reference number. Seemed legit. But i did get suss. So when he was tranferring me to another department which i guess would have eventually got more finer details from me if i had been fooled.. i hung up. Rang the NAB fraud team straight away to confirm it was a scam! thankfully not fooled. But i do wonder how he knew my name.

Rang twice but didn't leave a message. Checked the security telephone numbers for NAB and CBA, but neither of those numbers match this one.

Caller: English professional accent Do not give up an personal details to this number, they pretend they are from your bank’s security team calling about transactions (large ones from Amazon) they then will ask you to move your money into a secure account. Luckily I didn’t fall for it

Caller: NAB Fraud Department I was skeptical at first but it is the NAB security team double checking some card payments that flagged up in my account. Turned out the card payments were not made by myself so they cancelled the payments and re-issued a new card to me
